Yes. Using a VPN with DAZN isn’t illegal, and no law stops you from changing your virtual location to watch another DAZN region.

It does go against DAZN’s VPN policy, though, which is why DAZN works so hard to block VPN connections. You won’t face any action from law enforcement.

How Does DAZN Block VPNs?

Like many streaming services, DAZN checks the IP addresses connecting to it in real time. An automated system compares them with a database of known VPN addresses and blocks any matches.

The more people use the same VPN IP address with DAZN, the easier it is to spot and block. That’s why a VPN that used to work can suddenly stop.

Can I Change My DAZN Region without a VPN?

Yes, with a Smart DNS proxy, though I don’t recommend it.

Control D (owned by Windscribe) is probably the best Smart DNS service for DAZN. However, it costs about as much as a good VPN, has no free trial, and doesn’t guarantee a refund if you’re not satisfied.

Smart DNS proxies are also trickier to set up, and they don’t encrypt your traffic, so they’re much less secure than a VPN.

What Devices Can I Unblock DAZN On?

My method works on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. It also works on streaming devices like Android TV, Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, and Chromecast with Google TV.

Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to unblock DAZN on devices that don’t support VPN apps, like Roku. You’ll need to either set up a VPN on your router or connect your computer to your TV with an HDMI cable.

How Many Devices Can I Use with DAZN?

DAZN lets you stream on up to two devices at once. All four of my recommended VPNs allow at least 10 simultaneous connections, so one VPN subscription easily covers both screens.

Can I Change My Home Location on DAZN?

Not from your account settings. DAZN sets your Home Location when you sign up, based on your payment method’s country, and you can’t edit it in your profile.

You have two options. You can ask DAZN customer support to change it, but you’ll need to prove you’ve moved and provide a payment method from your new country. Requests aren’t always approved.

Or you can create a new account registered in the country you want. I explain how step by step above, including how to pay with a gift card if you don’t have a local payment method.

Remember, changing your Home Location isn’t the same as switching libraries. To watch another country’s library, all you need is a VPN. Your Home Location only matters for paid add-ons and licensing exclusives like LaLiga and Serie A.
