We assess and rate the top free and paid VPNs for Argentina using a strict methodology we’ve developed specifically for this purpose.
Our evaluation is based on important criteria including server locations, streaming, speeds, price, and more — each contributing to the VPN’s overall rating forArgentina.
The table below shows how our Argentina VPN recommendations performed based on our Argentina-specific criteria.
Below, you can find our testing categories along with the percentage they contribute to the final rating:
1. Argentina Server Locations: 30%
Minimum Requirement: A server location in Argentina.
We Recommend: Many servers in Argentina, located in various cities.
For an Argentina VPN, the most important attribute is providing access to a diverse range of Argentinian IP addresses through secure VPN servers, allowing seamless connections into Argentina from anywhere in the world.
The quantity of Argentina servers directly impacts the VPN’s rating, as more servers mean better performance and accessibility.
In our assessment, we do not favor physical or virtual VPN servers, acknowledging that both have their merits; physical servers are safer, but virtual servers enable you to get an IP address in more countries, including Argentina. However, we do like to see the option of both being provided and labeled.
2. Argentina Streaming: 30%
Minimum Requirement: Unblocks Telecinco and Telefe.
We Recommend: All of the above, as well as Netflix Argentina.
Unblocking Argentinian streaming platforms from abroad is a key requirement of an Argentina VPN.
In our streaming tests, we assessed each VPN based on its ability to bypass geo-restrictions on Netflix, Telecinco, and Telefe.
On one hand, our tests revealed that geo-blocks of Telecinco and Telefe are easily overcome by most VPNs.
On the other hand, Argentinian Netflix has very strict blocks only two VPNs were able to bypass.
Below you can see a fuller picture of the streaming tests we performed to find the best VPNs for Argentinian streaming:
3. Speed: 20%
Minimum Requirement: An average international download speed greater than 60Mbps, and ping lower than 100ms.
We Recommend: An average international download download speed above 80Mbps, and ping lower than 50ms.
We reward VPNs that provide speeds as close to your normal internet connection as possible.
This way, we know which VPNs will stream content smoothly, download files quickly, and browse the web without interruptions.
To cater to users connecting to Argentina from diverse locations, including the US and Spain, we use an average international download figure derived from our own rigorously-gathered speed data. This long-term data provides accurate insight into the VPN’s overall international performance.

We conduct every speed test using our own purpose-built tool to ensure consistency.
4. Security & Technical Features: 10%
Minimum Requirement: Fast and secure VPN protocols, like OpenVPN and WireGuard, and AES-256 or ChaCha20 encryption.
We Recommend: All of the above, as well as a working VPN kill switch and IP address leak protection.
While you may not think security is important when unblocking a website or app in Argentina, we beg to differ.
When you’re VPN application is running, by default all your device’s internet connections are routed through the VPN tunnel.
For this reason, using a secure VPN even for streaming is incredibly important. If you use an insecure VPN, you could leak sensitive data to unknown third-parties.
That’s why we favor VPN apps that come with the AES-256 or ChaCha20 encryption cipher, and use trusted VPN protocols like OpenVPN and WireGuard.
These features allow for secure connections between your device, the VPN servers you connect to, and the websites and apps you use.
5. Privacy & Logging Policy: 10%
Minimum Requirement: Privacy-focused logging policy, supported by court cases or independent audits.
We Recommend: No-logs policy confirmed by real-world incidents, trustworthy ownership, and RAM-based (diskless) servers.
VPNs primarily serve as privacy and security tools. As such, evaluating a VPN’s logging policy and privacy credentials remains key even for streaming-purposes.
We examine thoroughly a VPN’s privacy policy, jurisdiction, company history, and supporting evidence that validate its logging claims, such as court cases or independent audits.
By scrutinizing these aspects, we ensure that our recommended VPNs provide a robust and reliable level of privacy protection for users.
